Holy crap. I can’t believe I waited so long to make my own granola. I may never buy granola again. I freaking LOVE this recipe!!! Not only because it tastes amazing, but also because it’s VERY EASY and QUICK to make. It’s vegan and it’s also allergy-friendly (free of gluten, soy, dairy, nuts and eggs). I was very skeptical about this recipe. It just sounded too easy. Even the whole time I was making it, I was sure it was going to be a failure. I know, I’m such a positive thinker, right?! Much to my surprise, it actually turned out quite good! I will definitely make it again. It’s not going to cure my craving for Domino’s (non- gluten-free) thin crust cheese & pineapple pizza (I’m so high-class), but I was still impressed. I think round two will be even better. I’ll use less water (so it’s hopefully crisper) and I’ll add a few herbs/spices to the dough. Have you been to a Pinterest Party yet? On Saturday, I attended my third one. It’s basically just a designated time and place for girlfriends to gather and actually MAKE a few of the projects they’ve pinned on Pinterest. Each person brings their own project(s) and materials as well as a snack/appetizer that they’ve pinned. I cheated and took Raisinet Cookies (which are on my Vegan Pinterest board, btw).
